Humane Ohio Vision
A community without homeless pets and where all pet owners have access to affordable spay/neuter services.

Humane Ohio (a 501c3 non-profit organization) operates a low-cost spay/neuter clinic to serve pet owners, feral cat caretakers, animal shelters and rescue groups. We have fixed over 21,000 animals since 2002, including 8,700 this year alone!

Buster and RJ (shown below) are two happy and healthy clients that posed for pictures after their spay/neuter surgery. If you need to get your pet or a stray cat fixed, call us! 419-266-5607

High Quality, Low Cost Spay/Neuter
Humane Ohio can offer low-cost, affordable spay/neuter prices to pet owners because, as a 501c3 non-profit organization, we receive private donations and grants that allow us to subsidize the true, higher cost of spay/neuter procedures and keep our prices low for our clients. We are not a full service veterinary clinic and focus solely on spay/neuter because our goal is to prevent unwanted litters.

Standard of Care
Humane Ohio believes that all animals should receive the highest quality veterinary care possible, even if the services rendered are at a reduced-cost. Humane Ohio's low-cost spay/neuter clinic uses state of the art instruments and equipment. We do not cut corners or quality. All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by qualified, licensed vets (DVMs) and all animals entrusted to Humane Ohio are attended to before and after surgery by trained veterinary technicians. Every patient receives a brief physical exam and quality pain medication.

Spay/Neuter is the best defense against pet overpopulation. Humane Ohio focuses on prevention, not reaction.

"No other disease or condition of companion animals takes as many lives as euthanasia. In fact, no other disease comes close." -Janet M. Scarlett, DVM, Ph.D, Cornell University.

alert Please note: We are focused on Northwest Ohio and some parts of Southeast Michigan. If you are in other parts of Ohio, click here for spay/neuter programs near you.
