For shelters, rescues, and dog wardens:

We provide a transport system in addition to our walk in appointments. Our transport van is available to travel within a 60 mile radius (each way) of Humane Ohio's clinic. We currently travel to six counties (Lucas, Wood, Sandusky, Ottawa, Monroe, MI, Wyandotte, MI) but are open to expanding! Our equipped cargo van will come to a pre-arranged location with you in your community to pick up clients.

This is a great way for you to offer a low cost spay/neuter program to your community without the work of running a clinic or transporting yourself! You can advertise to the public to let them know about this opportunity and we can schedule it with you as often as you like--once a week or once a month--it's up to you!

Here is what we ask for your help the day of:

• Ensure all paperwork has been properly completed, signed, and attached to the pet carrier prior to the van arrival (preferably by 30 minutes).
• Have sufficient number of staff/volunteers to help with the transport loading process (generally two people).
• All pets must be secured in clean, plastic, size appropriate crates.
• Each crate must be clearly marked with the animal's first and last name and the transport group's name.
• You must have a minimum of 25 animals for a transport.
