Humane Ohio - Spay/Neuter Clinic

Humane Ohio's Vision: A community without homeless pets where all residents have access to quality, low-cost spay/neuter and resources to help keep pets healthy and happy in their homes. In 2019, we spayed/neutered 19,151 dogs and cats! Humane Ohio serves anyone in Ohio and Michigan. If you live outside this area, we can help you find something closer to home

Notice - 5/18/20

Humane Ohio resumed spay/neuter on a limited basis on Monday, May 4th, with new procedures will be in place for drop off and pick up.

If you had an appointment that had to be canceled due to the shutdown, you should be hearing from us soon. We have begun reaching out, and we will contact each one of you, but please be patient. Over 600 spay/neuter surgeries had to be postponed so it may take a few weeks to get in touch with everyone.

Humane Ohio will be resuming outdoor community cat walk-in spay/neuter on a limited basis on Wednesday, May 20th. Drop off will be at 9:00 am on Wednesdays and Fridays and will be contact-less in our entryway. There are instructions clearly posted for trappers. Our lobby will be closed to the public during drop off. Pick up for outdoor cats will be at 9:30 am the following day unless we contact you.

More information will be available on the Humane Ohio Facebook page

Public adoption events are still suspended for the time being. We do have some great cats and kittens in need of homes, and will continue sharing information about them on social media. The cats are in foster homes and can still be adopted. Please take a look at our adoption page for information on available cats and kittens and to fill out an adoption application.

Thank you for your patience during these uncertain times and stay safe!

Humane Ohio helps over 19,000 pets and pet caregivers each year in our small facility. The move to a larger building will have an enormous impact on the difference we can make in the Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan region for homeless pets.
