Become a Volunteer!
Volunteer opportunities are currently restricted to try to maintain a safe clinic environment. Once we are again able to accept new volunteers, we would love to have additional volunteers to help with laundry (we do a LOT of laundry), scrubbing instruments, upkeep for our landscaping and grounds and more! Please check back for more volunteer opportunities.
Age Requirement: Due to liability restraints, volunteers must be at least 18 years old. We do have off-site youth volunteer opportunities that can be done from home like making dog beds and cat toys, organizing a donation drive to collect wish list items, and more. All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application and sign a liability agreement.

Foster Parent
Our cat and kitten adoption program is only made possible by generous volunteers opening their hearts and homes to cats in need. Humane Ohio provides all of the medical care, food and other supplies as available, and you provide a safe place to stay, TLC and transportation to and from medical or adoption appointments as needed. Medical Team Assistant (for veterinary technician students only)
We have hands on volunteer opportunities in our spay/neuter clinic for first and second year veterinary technician students working to get RVT Registration that will count towards any volunteer hours required by your program. Please contact volunteer@humaneohio.org for more information.
Donation Canister Volunteer
Be the Change…Collect the Change! We have donation canisters in area businesses. We need volunteers to collect the money once a month and bring or send the money to the clinic.
